VFW
LCC goes to VFW
VFW is a place were Veterans go to hang out. VFW stands for Veterans Of Foreign Wars. They can go there to talk, drink, eat, and hang out. On Saturday they went there to eat cupcakes!
Saturday Fudge, Chocolate and I made two different kinds of cupcakes. We made vanilla cupcakes and RAINBOW cupcakes. We decided to keep the vanilla cupcakes and give away the rainbow cupcakes. After the cupcakes were baked, we decorated them, tasted them, packaged them, and drove them to VFW.
At VFW the Veterans that were there were really happy. I really hope they enjoyed their cupcakes.
Back home we tasted our vanilla cupcakes. They tasted wonderful.

Peace Love and Cupcakes
One of my favorite books is Peace Love and Cupcakes (written by Sheryl and Carrie Berk). After I finished Peace Love and Cupcakes an idea sparked in my head. That idea was LCC.
A short summery of Peace Love and Cupcakes:
Kylie Carson always gets teased at her new school. She has lots of trouble making friends. Kylie comes up with a ‘sweet’ idea to make friends. She should start a cupcake club!
Soon Kylie has lots of good friends and is making tons of tasty treats, but Meredith, the schools meanest bully tries to ruin the club’s big cupcake party. Will the cupcake club survive? Read it to find out!
If you enjoy reading Peace Love and Cupcakes the next book in the series is already out!
Peace Love and Cupcakes ( book 1 )
Recipe for Trouble ( book 2 )
I look forward to reading this!

LCC goes to the fire station
Our first LCC trip was to the fire station! We made vegan (so strawberry could eat them) peanut-butter balls, decorated Chinese take-out containers, filled them up, and brought them to the fire station. Here is the recipe for the peanut butter balls.
Ingredients:
2 cups of peanut butter
1stick of earth balance buttery spread
3 cups of Rice Krispies
1 bag of powdered sugar
12 ounces of chocolate chips
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar. Add peanut butter and Rice Krispies. Roll into one inch balls. Melt chocolate on stove top. Dip balls into chocolate and let them cool.
Our trip to the fire station was really fun and great. It was fun because we got to see the inside of the fire station. We saw their lounge room, kitchen, bedrooms, and entrance.
It felt really good to help somebody that helps us all the time.
Here are some pictures of our trip!
